Blog Setup

Hi! My name is Arianna B. Gilson and I'm an English Education major and an aspiring future high school teacher. I'm in love with the idea of being an educator and am so excited so be starting my journey into becoming one some day. This is one of my two education based courses this semester and I'm thrilled to be a part of both of them.

As a someone who grew up with the rapid development of technology I have had my fair share of experience with it in an educational setting. I have used technologies such as educational apps and websites to further learn material covered in my classes, and I have used technology such as smart boards and computers to teach other students content as well. I have also had other students use technology to find information collectively so we could all come together and learn as a group.

I hope to learn how to use technology and strategies to strengthen my teaching abilities. I want to be able to have enough knowledge on this subject to provide my future students with a valuable educational experience. I want to explore what is out there and learn how to utilize things in the classroom setting I would have previously never seen as an opportunity to educate.
